Daphne Utilities Grants $6,000 To Daphne Teachers

DAPHNE, Ala — Daphne Utilities recently awarded grants for special projects in Daphne schools, WKRG reported. Part of the company’s annual grant day, awarding of the funds recognized teachers and their work. Daphne teachers Dr. Betsy Anderton of Daphne High School, Kim Nolfe of Daphne East Elementary School, Michele Marshall of Daphne Middle School, Angie Beard and Lauren Lanuza of Belforest Elementary School and Alison Kidd of Daphne Elementary School each received $1,000 for environmental and utility-related projects. This is the fourth year Daphne Utilities has awarded these grants to teachers in the city.
