New Animal Hospital Planned For Gulf Shores

The Gulf Shores Planning Commission recently approved plans for Langston Animal Hospital’s planned 12,384-ft2 veterinary hospital, Gulf Coast Media reported. The 4.55-acre site is along the west side of Highway 59 and is to have 64 parking spaces. The facility is to house more than 30 staff members, more than a dozen treatment rooms, multiple surgery rooms, intensive care, kennels, a pharmacy and more. Langston Animal Hospital, currently at 6642 Highway 59 in Gulf Shores, offers in-house radiology, abdominal and thoracic ultrasound and surgical procedures, among others, alongside routine services such as dentistry, examinations, vaccines, boarding and more. The clinic has an entirely digital medical record and scheduling system.
