Spanish Fort Library Hosts Alabama Author

SPANISH FORT, Ala. —Alabama authorKathie Farnell will be participating in an event on June 25 at the Spanish Fort Public Library. Farnell recently published her second book, Tie Dyed: Avoiding Aquarius, Gulf Coast Media reports. The memoir comes on the heels of Duck and Cover: A Nuclear Family, which recounted her younger years growing up in Montgomery in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The narrative in Tie Dyed follows her through the colorful and politically charged times of her high school and college years.
