Sea Turtle Event Coming To Gulf State Park

Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores will host an early World Sea Turtle Day celebration on June 13 at 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sea turtle-themed programs and activities for all ages, including sea turtle rescue demonstrations at the pier, opportunities to learn how to protect nests with the Alabama Coastal Foundation’s Share the Beach program and sea turtle basics at the Nature Center, will be available throughout the day. Each program must be registered for in advance, and programs will be held in different areas throughout the park.
