Marine Environmental Awards Luncheon Announced

 The Dauphin Island Sea Lab Foundation is holding the 13th Annual Marine Environmental Awards Luncheon on October 28 at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Battle House Hotel Moonlight Ballroom. Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Chris Blankenship will be the keynote speaker during the luncheon. He serves on many boards and commissions and is chairman of the Forever Wild Land Trust Board and the Innovate Alabama Council on Outdoor Recreation. Awards will be presented to Roberta Swann and Alabama Water Watch. The foundation said both have made outstanding contributions to marine environmental sustainability in the Alabama Gulf Coast Region. Tickets are $60.
