Maritime Museum Participating In Blue Star Program

The National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico in Mobile has announced it will join museums across the country in the Blue Star Museums initiative, which offers free admission to currently serving U.S. military personnel (with a military ID) and their families. The 2024 summer program has begun and runs through Labor Day, September 2. A complete list of participating museums is available here. In addition to this initiative, the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico will waive admission fees for local teachers and their families this summer. This has also begun and will continue through August 15. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. The last entries of the day are at 3 p.m.
