MSO Announces January 22 Concert

The Mobile Symphony Orchestra (MSO) is performing Fireworks of Jupiter on January 22 at 7:30 p.m. and January 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Mobile’s Saenger Theatre. The concert centers on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. Danish cellist Jonathan Swensen, a 25-year-old who MSO calls a “rising classical star,” joins the orchestra for Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s “Rococo Variations.” Four-concert season memberships are available at $68-$272, and individual tickets are on sale for $20-$89. Student tickets are $10. They may be purchased online, by phone at 251-432-2010 or at the MSO box office at 257 Dauphin Street. Masks are required for this performance, and MSO will review its COVID-19 safety policies on a concert-by-concert basis.
