Southern Earth Sciences Grows, Wins Award In Florida

Southern Earth Sciences, Inc. (SES) recently announced that it has expanded its services to cover Metropolitan Tampa. SES has been strategically targeting business-development opportunities in the area. The tricounty area of Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties includes Tampa, Clearwater and St. Petersburg and boasts more than 3 million people and one of the fastest-growing economies in the country. Also, SES was recently awarded a five-year contract for construction materials testing in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Three. This district represents 16 counties in Northwest Florida. The contract will involve multiple offices and consist of laboratory verification testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt on all FDOT projects in the district.
