Dr. Shenghua (Edward) Wu, a civil engineering associate professor at the University of South Alabama (USA), has announced that he is leading a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-funded project titled "Building Industry-Ready Civil Engineers: Integrating Standards Education into the Civil Engineering Curriculum." A USA team including Dr. John Cleary, Dr. Min Wook Kang and Dr. Lisa LaCross will develop and integrate five learning modules into the civil engineering program with the aim to enhance students’ comprehension and application of standards, specifications and codes.
