Mobile Area Special Olympics To Benefit From Tidal Wave Charity Day

The Mobile Area Special Olympics has announced its partnership with Tidal Wave Auto Spa at the Schillinger Road location for the company’s 18th annual Charity Day event to be held September 18. The Mobile Area Special Olympics will receive 50% of all car wash proceeds raised at this location on September 18, along with on-site cash donations. The remaining 50% of wash proceeds will support Tidal Wave’s corporate nonprofit partners: Annandale Village, which provides progressive life assistance to adults with developmental disabilities, and The Joseph Sams School, which provides educational and therapeutic support for children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Over Charity Day’s 17-year history, Tidal Wave has donated more than $2.8 million to charitable organizations, including a record $864,075 raised at last year’s event. The 2026 event is the company’s largest yet, with 319 participating locations across 30 states.
