Baldwin Health Awarded Top Hospital Safety Grade

Baldwin Health was recently awarded an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization that sets the standard for hospital safety, quality and transparency. The honor places Baldwin Health among the safest hospitals in the nation for protecting patients from preventable harm, infections and medical errors. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade evaluates hospitals on more than two dozen measures related to safety systems, error prevention and quality improvement. Receiving an “A” signals to patients that Baldwin Health meets or exceeds the highest national standards for safety and accountability. Assessing nearly 3,000 general hospitals nationwide, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is updated twice a year.
