Local Lawyer Named Director Of IADC 50th-Annual Trial Academy

According to the Mobile Bar Association (MBA) July newsletter, MBA Member M. Warren Butler, partner at Starnes Davis Florie, has been selected to serve as director of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s (IADC) 50th Annual Trial Academy, to be held at Stanford Law School in Palo Alto, California, in August. MBA says the Trial Academy is the nation’s preeminent defense trial academy training program and the “crown jewel” of the IADC. The event allows lawyers to practice trial skills and improve their advocacy techniques.
