According to AL.com, Game Kastle, a national game and hobby store, will open soon at The Wharf, according to Jeff Barnes and Steadman Bethea of Stirling Properties, who represented the landlord. The Orange Beach location will be the 10th for the retailer, which focuses on board and card games. A Mississippi-based investor paid $1.055 million for 2 acres on Satchel Paige Drive in Mobile, according to Andrew Chason of Marchus & Millichap, who represented the seller. The property is Lot 1 in McGowin Business Park Phase 8. Watch for Hickory Street RV & Boat Storage to be built on 5.4 acres off Hickory Street just north of East Fielding Park Drive in Foley, according to city planning. More residential development is planned for Fort Morgan in Gulf Shores. The Colony at Fort Morgan Phase 2 on the north side of Highway 180 will have 56 lots on 17.46 acres. Oak Alley in the 17000 block of Highway 180 is planned on part of a 41-acre site featuring 69 single-family home lots, according to city planning. A four-bedroom waterfront unit at the Blue Martin Getaway duplex on Marina Road in Orange Beach was purchased at auction for $880,000, according to American Auctioneers based in Centre, Alabama. The Waynesboro, Mississippi, buyer was one of 14 bidders that came from five states to bid for two units. The seller kept the five-bedroom unit that did not sell. Lodestar Realty purchased a 3,600-ft2 office at 6348 Piccadilly Square Drive in Mobile, according to Jill Meeks of Stirling, who represented the seller.
