Fairhope Brewing To Open Permanent Location In Mobile

Fairhope Brewing Co., Lower Alabama’s original and largest craft brewery, has announced that its popular Mobile outpost—originally opened as the Wingman Brewing popup—will officially become Fairhope Brewing Co., Mobile. What began as a limited-time experiment to test new varieties has become a permanent fixture due to its popularity. This marks the first new permanent taproom for Fairhope Brewing Co. since opening its flagship brewery and tasting room in Fairhope in 2013. Located on Saint Louis Street in Downtown Mobile, Wingman Brewing will close on August 11 for a taproom redesign including more comfortable seating and a layout that invites a neighborhood, lounge-style vibe. The refreshed space is to reopen as Fairhope Brewing Co., Mobile on August 15. Additionally, with Amtrak Mardi Gras Service launching, the brewery is offering a new flagship IPA, “Take the Railway IPA,” on August 18, when the rail service begins.
