CACC Announces New, Unified Mascot

Coastal Alabama Community College (CACC) now has one mascot for the first time in its history. Since its creation from a consolidation from three former colleges in 2017, CACC has fielded teams with three different mascots, depending on which campus its student athletes competed. The college held a live broadcast on April 26 to announce its new athletic identity as the Coastal Alabama Coyotes, with its cheer to be “Go Yotes!” The new brand was designed by national marketing firm RARE Design, which is based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and creates athletic identities for professional basketball, baseball, football and racing teams.
