HOPE For All Gulf Coast Announces 5K/Family Run Event

HOPE for All Gulf Coast has announced an event aimed to bring together runners, walkers, families, community leaders and local partners from across Mobile and Baldwin counties to raise awareness and critical funding to support families experiencing homelessness. The inaugural Miles of Hope 5K & Family Fun Run will take place on May 16 at Mardi Gras Park in downtown Mobile. For more than 30 years, HOPE has worked to help individuals and families regain stability after experiencing hard times. The Miles of Hope event represents a new opportunity to expand that impact, while engaging the broader community in both awareness and action. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to join the event, which features a 3.2-mile course. Proceeds from the day will directly support HOPE’s programs that provide shelter, case management, housing support and stabilization services to families working to get re-established.
